Objectives: Students will learn:
- To understand plot, setting, character development, and themes in Old Yeller
- To write topic sentences, supporting details, and concluding sentences
- Read and understand age-appropriate literature
- To discuss literature and contribute their ideas to class discussions
- To use creativity and imagination to evaluate literature
