We are currently working on the following material for the week of January 16th, 2012:

Art class: What is a self Portrait?

Who is Andy Warhol? This week in Art class we will creating Abstract self portrait using technology.

Process:

• Students will go online to look at images of abstract self portraits for inspiration.
• Students will use applications on the computer to take a picture of themselves and then alter the picture in an abstract manner.
• Students will print out the picture and may need to draw on the printed picture to create something even more abstract about their self portrait.
