Dialing 911
Objectives:
- Students will demonstrate what is safe and what is not safe in the home.
- Students will identify three different types of emergency’s that can happen in the home.
- Students will practice safe fire drill procedures.
- Students will learn how to prevent a fire in the home.
- Explain how everyday items in the home can contain dangerous chemicals.

Objectives:
- Students will learn common phrases in Spanish.
- Students will learn how to order food from a Spanish menu.
- Students will learn how to answer a telephone in Spanish.

Lesson Title: Introduction to the U.S. Constitution.
Objectives:
- Students will learn about the process of electing a president.
- Students will learn that The Congress has two parts, House of reps, and the Senate.
- Students will learn about the three branches of government.
- Students will learn about the President, and the White House.
- Students will learn who wrote the Declaration of Independence.

Lesson Title: How to spell words with the ea sound and review cursive writing for the third graders?
Objectives:
- Students will learn to determine if a common noun is a person place or thing.
- Students will learn to identify common verbs.
- Students will listen to teachers read spelling words aloud, and then practice writing them, focusing on handwriting.
- Students will write five sentences using one spelling word in each sentence.
- Students will use spelling words to complete a story.
- Students will begin forming letters with cursive.
- First graders will practice handwriting.

Lesson Title: Estimating time
Objectives:
- Use place value understanding and properties of operations to add and subtract.
- Students will count by fives on a clock.
- Students will learn how to estimate the length of time that an activity will take.
- Students will learn how to count by fives.
- Students will practice writing, and saying the five times table.
- Students will learn how to tell time.
- Learn how to estimate, and add using whole numbers and money. (review)
- Learn how to add money using a calculator. (review)
