We are currently working on the following material for the week of May 14, 2012:
Unit Title: Animal Farm
Objectives:
To review Communism, the Cold War, and several historical figures during this time period.
To practice reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
Procedure: 1) Students will take a review quiz on chapters 7-10 (the final chapters) of Animal Farm. 2) Students will review their notes and watch another version of Animal Farm to help them review for a quiz. 3) Students will take a final quiz on Animal Farm. 4) If time allotted, students will begin prewriting for a paper the compares/contrasts one of the animals from Animal Farm to an important historical figure during the Cold War.
