    Athletics

At Montgomery Academy, the physical education program is centered around individual skill development and team building. Students participate in physical education class three times each week and are encouraged and challenged to use their bodies in ways to help increase stamina, flexibility, and ability in a non-competitive and positive environment. The goal of the program is to increase each student’s self-confidence about their bodies and their skills.

Students at Montgomery Academy, ages 12 and older, also enjoy the chance to join the school’s basketball, soccer, and cheerleading teams. While soccer is offered as an intramural sport, the school’s basketball team competes against other schools throughout the area during school hours. The cheerleading squad also attends games to show off their routines and support for the school.
