July of 2007 marked the first year of our well-received Extended School Year (ESY) summer program. Since then, students have been given the wonderful opportunity every July to reinforce the math, language arts and social skills attained during the regular academic year. Various classes such as woodworking, culinary arts, music, multimedia design and many others provide students with opportunities to explore their interests while at the same time reinforcing the skills necessary to make a smooth and successful transition back to school in September. Most of all, our ESY program offers a great way for students to stay connected with their classmates and teachers in a fun, creative and informal setting.
